In January, MELSA (the Metropolitan Library Service Agency) and its eight member libraries rolled out a new web resource product called JobNow! It’s a real-time, online resume and interview coaching/career advice tool that you can access from the library, your home, or wherever you have Internet access.  All you need is your library card barcode to log on. Services include:

  • Expert resume assistance, feedback, templates, and tips
  • Live interview coaching plus tips and resources (in English or Spanish)
  • Resources for your job search and career tips

It also includes a job and career subject guide that is customized with Twin Cities resources and links. JobNow!services are available seven days a week from 1 to 11 p.m. to patrons of the following metro libraries:

The average JobNow! user spends 30 minutes using the tool, and many have shared their job success stories with library staff.
