Spring may not mean the return of warm weather (at least not yet) but it does mean the return of job fairs – including two you won’t want to miss!
March 28 will be the date of the annual Get Jobs Job Fair at the Eagan Civic Arena. Employers will be recruiting for hundreds of jobs, from entry-level to professional positions, from 11 AM to 4 PM. Free shuttle buses from select WorkForce Center locations will be available. More parking and shuttle information or driving directions are available online.
Also take advantage of job search seminars and workshops that will be offered at the event or special workshops to prepare for success at a job fair offered at WorkForce Center locations.
iSeek Solutions, DEED Veterans Services, MnSCU Diversity Office, MCDA and other organizations are partners for this year’s Multicultural Forum (MCF) on Workplace Diversity’s Career Services Center and Career Fair on April 9-10.
The MCF Career Fair will be held on Wednesday April 10 from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The event is open to the public. The MCF Career Fair is targeting job seekers who have or are pursuing a college degree. Most the Midwest’s major companies will have a presence at the career fair. A full list of businesses is available online.
In addition to the MCF Career Fair, the Career Services Center is offering jobs seekers assistance on their interview skills, resume critique or general career guidance before or during the career fair. This is a chance for job seekers to get up to 30 minutes of FREE one-on-one career guidance. Read more online about the dates, time and location.
